The Martial Games - International Arnis Championships

The British Arnis Alliance will be organising an international padded stick tournament on 5th September 2009 at The Martial Games. British Competitors will be competing for places on the British team for next years European Championships, whilst international competitors are also welcome to come and experience this fast growing sporting format first hand.

The Martial Games is a new era of tournament in the UK, and has been dubbed by some as "the Olympics for Martial Artists". With 24 areas running over the weekend it is set to be one of the most unique and slick tournaments ever to hit the UK and with an estimated 1000+ competitors it's not one of those events you're going to want to miss!

Brought to you by the organisers of MAF-UK (held in April 09), this bespoke tournament for Martial Artists will play host to hundreds of individuals from all across the globe, competing for their spot on the podium whether it be Bronze, Silver or Gold!

The Martial Games will be held at Loughborough University (Leicestershire) on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September 2009, guest celebrities will be awarding Trophies including GOK WAN & Zara Phythian and they are filming the entire tournament for a DVD release and television. On top of all this the IOC (International Olympic Committee) members are invited to attend.
